I'm using the ZabCab app for passengers

To request a cab using the ZabCab app, tap "Request a Cab" button once. We will search for the closest available cab. As soon as the driver accepts your fare, you will receive the message "Cab Confirmed". You will also see the cab style and the estimated time of the pick-up, along with a phone button to press if you need to call your driver in case you have specific instructions to make the pick-up easier.  


I'm using the ZabCab FrontDesk app for businesses

To request a cab using the ZabCab Front Desk app, tap the (+)  button once for each cab you want to request.  When you initially sign up, you will be able to request one cab.  As soon as your business location has been verified you will be able to request up to 3 cabs at once.   We will search for the closest available cabs. As soon as the first driver accepts your fare, you will receive the message "Cab Confirmed". You will also see the driver's car style and the estimated time of arrival, along with a phone button to press if you need to call your driver.  You will be receive a confirmation and ETA as each driver confirms.  


I tapped the button, but it didn't work

This might happen for one of these reasons:

  • Your internet connection is down.   Please check your connection and try again.
  • You might be in an area that is not currently serviced by ZabCab. In this case, you would receive a message notifying you that you are not in a current service area.
  • You might be temporarily banned from the service if you had an excessive number of cancelations or validation requests in a short time.  You should receive a notification if you are temporarily banned and you can use the service again as soon as that lockout time has expired.  
  • Our service might be down.  This is rare and you should receive a notification if this is true.
